The Future of Education System post Covid-19

India is experiencing an e-learning boom in the aftermath of the COVID-19 crisis. On global scale, schools, universities, educational institution are using online learning platforms to continue the teaching process. The definition of education has been transformed overnight by this step, and digital learning has emerged as an essential resource for education.

COVID-19 is continuing to digitise everything on a global scale because the pandemic has greatly affected education. Teachers and professors, as well as students, also found themselves operating in completely different situations, schools were closed, and universities only switched to distance learning.

Currently, in many countries, the spread of COVID-19 has been controlled to a certain extent. Consequently, it is possible to reopen certain schools and restart other educational programmes. However, we have not yet seen the end of the pandemic. In the next semester, some challenging decisions must be made on how to teach. Schools are adapting E-learning software

Since the covid, school opening has been a big issue and understanding the current situation, it still exists. The school will not open soon, so e-learning software is a new classroom for students. Schools are adapting e-learning software to provide learning for all the students.

The role of teacher must be redefined

The concept of an educator as a knowledge holder who imparts knowledge to students requires adaptation and learning of new technologies. With information readily available and students able to access content, even learn technical skills, the educator’s position in the classroom is redefined with a few clicks.

The New Engagement

A high level of interactivity with the teacher and also between students is supported by physical classrooms. But as schools and universities become more versatile and open, and as online/blended learning becomes an integral part of school education, as expected, educators will need to bring a lot of developments to their e-learning modules to bring in the aspect of interactivity and collaboration to keep students engaged.

In reality, not only educational institutions around the world, teachers, but students and parents are greatly threatened by this pandemic. However, do you think that this could be just the interruption that the education sector needed to make us all think again how we educate and ask what our students need to teach? As teachers from all over the world struggle to interact with students from classrooms and lecture theater, let us take time to consider how this interruption could enable us to define what learning will look like to make the most of the crisis and turn it into an opportunity. The future of Education has indeed changed, but the degree of improvement will be the answer we all are looking for. Hence, illumnus will be the solution for the schools to take a step ahead in the future of education and execute the curriculum in a different way.
